A mixed media artwork with oil paint, acrylic paint, and cardboard. I first sketched out the rough draft in my sketchbook, then after copying the sketch onto the canvas, painted the subject with oil paint. I cut the cardboard into 5 different pieces- 4 pieces total for the 2 wings, and one for the thorax, and painted it with acrylic. After letting it dry, I attached it to the canvas with gorilla glue and signed it.
