Future seniors be warned!
Senior year is not what it’s advertised to be.
They advertise senior year as a winter wonderland
That after junior year you will be free
But Alas! In August you will face the heat
That is college applications which sucks each senior’s joy and glee
And Spring! Oh Spring!
Senioritis hits in full swing.
You have to grasp on to the last few drops of willpower you have left
Praying it’s enough to fuel you through one last semester
Each homework barely finished, each test barely studied for
By the end of every week you will be so so SO tired
Thinking about it has made me so tired that I can’t even finish this rhyme scheme
But keep going!
Even if it’s one step at a time
Realize that it’s the last few weeks of one of the most important chapters of your life
We truly never know what the good days are until they’re gone
Future seniors be warned!
Don’t squander this experience.
