Through this depiction, the artwork encourages a deeper understanding of my culture and the holidays we celebrate.
I used mixed media for this piece including acrylic paint, Prismacolors, strings, dried flowers, foil, fabric, beads, and small newspaper cutouts. I chose this approach to create vibrant colors, textures, and intricate details in the temple’s architecture to reflect the richness of Hindu rituals.
