I wanted to capture the magic and passion of competitive swimming. I have been a swimmer for about 7 years now and I’m so grateful to be a part of Westwood Swim and Dive. The swimmer in the drawing is Benjamin Truong who was one of our captains last year. He was an outstanding example of what a Warrior athlete should be and I hope to reflect his tenacious spirit in this piece.

Woahwoahwoahhhh.
I thought your most recent post was crazy amazing but then THIS JUST BLEW ME AWAY. SO HYPERREALISTIC, I FEEL LIKE IM IN THE MOMENT WITH HIM. The way he’s taking the breath, the tension in his shoulders, everything shows passion and determination and desperation and it’s beautiful. Also the way you drew the water is just WOW. Makes you see the way he must have exploded out of it – Really adds something; I can almost feel the spray. I’m blown away, you are so talented.
