The art portrays a young girl popping a pimple on her face but when she does spiders come out of it. My drawing is based on the story “The Red Spot” from the book “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”. I made the spider bite a pimple because I thought that the experience is quite similar as popping a pimple can be quite disgusting sometimes. Instead of puss coming out of the pimple I made it spiders.
